For years, I worked inside Chinese factories, representing international customers from within, not the other way around. But that wasn’t always appreciated internally.

I saw how easily relationships could become transactions. When I felt something wasn’t fair to my customers, I spoke up. I pushed for answers, challenged decisions and fought for the relationships I had built, even when doing so became difficult for me personally and ultimately contributed to me losing my position.

But it confirmed something I already knew:

My loyalty is to my clients, and to the trusted manufacturers who share the same values of fairness, accountability and long-term relationships.
